New Logo for Tourism Bureau
In 2021, the Tourism Bureau of Chania delegated the redesign of the Bureau’s logo, in order to be relevant to today’s marketing standards as well as to encapsulate Chania’s brand in an authentic and original way that can stand out in the heavily competitive Tourism sector.
Source of Inspiration for the logo’s design was the touristic promotion of the city of Chania, by using the unique features of the city. The Venetian harbor holds a prominent place, by carrying a multicultural character and boasting the Egyptian Lighthouse, the Venetian shipyards and the Muslim Mosque. All of the above are encircled by the sea, the mountains and the sun.
The love for the city and its unique architectural character, lead to the final design that meets all of the criteria that constitute a unique, distinct and timeless logo.
